Treadways’ Wee Cabin
Treadways’ wee cabin is a 2 bedroom cabin with a kitchen and bath. There is a deck and fire pit for your private use.
Blindfold lake is a beautiful lake to swim in. Fish are plentiful to catch; walleye, bass, crappies, northern.
Tim and Deanna were chosen as 1 of 2 couples to live for 1 year on the prairies like the first pioneers of the 1800's for History Television. They had to start from scratch....plow the land, build log homes/barns, dig water wells, harvest hay by hand, etc.
Their year became a 9 hour documentary which can be seens as PIONEER QUEST on Amazon Prime, Youtube, Tubi

Rates and Information
$200.00/night including breakfast for 2 guests
- $50.00 deposit required at time of reservation
Extra guests are $25 per person
Weekly rates for 7 nights $1300.00
- $200.00 deposit required for a weekly reservation.

We are 5 minutes off the trans Canada hwy #17
Coming from the West:
-Continue on the bypass to hwy #71
-Turn right on Blindfold Lake Road (5km)
-Turn right on Birch Grove Road
-Take the first left (Treadways’ Wee Cabin Sign at road)
Coming from the East on trans Canada hwy #17:
-Turn left on hwy #71 (before Kenora)
-Turn right on Blindfold Lake Road (5km)
-Turn right on Birch Grove Road
-Take the first left (Treadways’ Wee Cabin Sign at road).
